This website traces the family history of my paternal surname lineage of Savin, and tells the individual stories of each person that I have found, as far as surviving records permit. It therefore follows back in time solely my Savin ancestors through each succeeding generation starting with my father. The lives of their siblings, that is brothers and sisters, born with the Savin surname are also included at each stage.
This is not just a collection of names, dates and places. It is an attempt bring their stories to life, through the events they are recorded as having participating in, and to understand the circumstances in which they found themselves. In other words a biography of each individual. Where some of the information is common to more than one person, rather than just repeat it each time, a link will be made to a separate page on the topic. For example a page about the education of a group of siblings who went to the same school.
